Prince Edward County welcomes you to the centuries-old tradition of sap gathering and syrup production. Over five thousand visitors and locals enjoy the sweet treats of March in this self-directed, two-day celebration, with pancake breakfasts, tours of maple bushes, sugar shack demonstrations, music, dancing, shopping, fine dining, family activities, and so much more.

Many County wineries will introduce their new spring releases and serve their own unique wines paired with delicious cheeses and other gourmet food tastings.
Ticket Information: Our “one price” ticket allows guests to sample any of the wines they like and go back for seconds for the ones they love.

Admission includes all wine samples, seminars, demonstrations, complimentary cheese and three food items per guest. Additional food items are available at a nominal cost.
The Great Canadian Cheese Festival will return at historic Crystal Palace in Picton, in the heart of Prince Edward County, a leading culinary destination in Ontario.
The Festival will be an annual showcase of outstanding Canadian artisan, farmstead and specialty cheese, paired with fine wine, craft beer and cider, and accompanied by artisanal foods including the Festival’s own gourmet grilled-cheese stand.
The three-day event will feature cheese-tasting seminars, informative workshops, pairing cheese with wine, beer, cider and good eats, cheese plant tours, leading chefs creating dishes for a cheese gala, all on Saturday, with a Canadian cheese fair and artisan food market, demonstrations, entertainment and whey more on Sunday.
Prince Edward County Art's Council's annual art show and sale featuring the talented artists of Prince Edward County in one of the largest shows in Eastern Ontario. This juried art show features a broad range of work including watercolour, acrylic, oil, glass, fibre, ceramics, photography, sculpture, jewelry and much more. Free Admission.

The Tempest, by William Shakespeare
Driftwood Theatre presents Shakespeare’s masterpiece, The Tempest. One of Shakespeare’s most celebrated plays, The Tempest pits one man’s need for personal vengeance against his hopes for the future of his family. It is a story of magic, power and forgiveness told in Driftwood’ signature style blending movement, song, puppetry and classic storytelling.
All performances begin at 7:30pm.

From swing to rock to r&b, to classical to folk, Driftwood Theatre has drawn on some of the greatest musical styles to bring life to Shakespeare’s song and text. For its 20th season Driftwood celebrates the music of Shakespeare live in an a cappella concert. Join Driftwood Theatre for a free concert taking place prior to select performances of The Tempest.

The Annual Prince Edward County Jazz Festival, a signature show of the Prince Edward County Arts Council, is held in a unique, laid-back country setting featuring leading jazz artists from home and away. Evening Concerts are held in the historic Regent Theatre in Picton. Other events include daytime jazz at wineries, jazz dinners, meet the artist events and jam sessions.

This three day weekend event will feature more than 60 of The County's most talented artists and artisans. Visit them in their studios and five prominent galleries and experience a broad range of work including painters, photographers, woodcarvers, blacksmith, glass and fibre artists, jewellers, potters, sculptors, dollmakers and much more.
